Policarpia Lozana Honradez was from Ilog, Negros Occidental,
Philippines. She was a farmer's wife. The Honradez family owned a sugar plantation that produced sugar. Her
daughter Felicidad Honradez was born in 1895 and was a teacher. She married Eluterio Nobleza of Jaro, Iloilo City,
Iloilo, Philippines. He was also born in 1895 and was an accountant/bookeeper. He died at the age of 35, leaving
his wife and their two daughters Enriqueta and Magadalena.
Enriqueta Nobleza, their oldest daughter was born on
January 13, 1925. She met her first husband Manuel Doctura who was born in 1910 during a Christian conference.
They had 5 children : Jonah, Elizabeth, Ruth, Jojo and Samuel. Manuel Doctura died in 1974.
Their oldest daughter Elizabeth Nobleza Doctura was born
on April 6th, 1952 in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. She married Jose Equina Reyes Jr of Poblacion, New Washington,
Aklan, Philippines in Manila, May 10th, 1974. Jose Equina Reyes Jr was born on April 19th, 1951. Jose first
came to Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1975. Elizabeth soon followed in 1975. They had to marry again for
immigration laws of Canada in 1975 at Madison Baptist Church, Montreal, Canada. Elizabeth and Jose have two children:
Elaine Joy who was born on April 21, 1977 in Montreal, Quebec and Joshua James who was born on June 18th, 1981 in Toronto,
Ontario.
Enriqueta got remarried in October 2000 to Anthony (Tony) Da Cunha. They currently
live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. All her children live in Canada. Her grandchildren are: Manuel(Manny) Tan,
Elaine Joy Doctura Reyes, Joshua James Doctura Reyes, John Doctura, David Doctura, Timothy Doctura, Daniel Doctura, Lyn-Lyn
Doctura, Samantha Doctura, Nathaniel Doctura. Her great-grandchildren are Parys Casino and Pheonix Casino.
